Sattar&Co. advised an international apparel retail group having its liaison office located in Bangladesh in relation to their operations in Bangladesh. As part of its exit process from Bangladesh, our team advised the group on a regular basis on corporate and employment issues in Bangladesh. Our task involved advising on matters relating to the termination of the employees, as well as the agreements and registration requirements due to closure of the liaison office in Bangladesh. This was a detailed assignment, involving having to deal with many intricate issues associated with closure of business in the country.
